The BBC has unleashed a trailer for its new version of Watership Down, which was made with Netflix and Brown Bag Films, and it features an incredible roster of A-list talent.
This sure-to-be-heartbreaking remake will air in two parts: the first chunk will premiere on BBC One on Saturday 22nd December, before the second part airs the following day. Both episodes will be feature-length.

BBC One’s star-studded new adaptation of Watership Down uses Richard Adams’ bestselling novel as its source to bring an innovative interpretation to the much loved classic.
Adapted for the screen by Tom Bidwell and directed by Noam Murro, this tale of adventure, courage and survival follows a band of rabbits as they flee the certain destruction of their home.
Also, here’s the amazing cast list: James McAvoy, Nicholas Hoult, Sir Ben Kingsley, John Boyega, Daniel Kaluuya, Olivia Colman and Gemma Arterton, Rosamund Pike, Peter Capaldi, Taron Egerton, Gemma Chan, Miles Jupp, Freddie Fox, Mackenzie Crook, Anne-Marie Duff, Rory Kinnear, Tom Wilkinson, Jason Watkins, Craig Parkinson, Henry Goodman, Lee Ingleby, Charlotte Spencer and Daniel Rigby will all appear.
