What We Do In The Shadows, the TV show adaptation of Taikia Waititi’s feature film, returns for a second season in June…
Taika Waititi and Jemaine Clement’s vampire house share comedy What We Do in the Shadows comes back to the UK next month. BBC Two has revealed that season 2 will get underway in the UK on Thursday June 11th at 10pm.
In the show’s second season, the vampires try to find their way in a world of human Super Bowl parties, internet trolls, an energy vampire who gets a promotion and becomes drunk on power and of course, all the ghosts, witches, necromancers, zombies and shadowy cloaked assassins who roam freely in the Tri-State area. Is Guillermo destined to be a vampire or a vampire hunter? Or maybe just a familiar for the rest of his life?
Season 2 has at least one notable guest star (no further spoilers!) in its second season, which debuted in the US on 15th April. Star Wars actor Mark Hamill confirmed news of his surprise role over on Twitter a while ago…
“Remember when I told you about a project I really, really, really, REALLY loved but it was under an NDA? Well, @AJemaineClement just let the bat out of the bag & announced I’ll soon be visiting my favourite undead family on @theshadowsfx!” he posted.
