What’s Herbert West: Reanimator about?

Based on the tale from the horror legend HP Lovecraft, this film stands among many adaptations of his work. This particular tale follows a genius scientist and surgeon driven to the brink of madness in his ongoing quest to create a serum with the impossible effect of reviving the dead back to life. He’s soon joined by a troubled pathologist and the pair embark on a quest with an unusual alliance, the drive to defy the very nature of life itself.
