The author behind bestsellers had landed a development deal ahead of the release of her next book, here’s the latest on House of Crowns:

Having already penned the popular book After, Anna Todd is in line for another adaptation before the source material even hits shelves. The newest information on the production has revealed a little more of the story at the centre of it all.

What’s House of Crowns about?

The story will take place in the bustling hallways and ever-changing alumni of an elite boarding school in Switzerland. The intake is only the best of the best, students hail from royalty and world leaders. A scholarship welcomes our protagonist into the exclusive institution, and they’re immediately out of place thanks to their lower class background. A bond is formed with an heiress, and scandal soon follows.

Who’s behind it?

Elinor Cook (Boys of Tommen) is set to adapt from the page to the screen, Jennifer Gibgot (After), Andrew Panay (The Last Sunrise), Lena Roklin (Clashing Through the Snow) and Will Gould (Ripper Street) will produce.
