UK Fans have the chance to sit on the new look Iron Throne before the House of the Dragon premiere.
With the countdown on for the premiere of the Game of Thrones prequel series House of the Dragon, Sky are offering fans a chance to enjoy their moment in Westeros’ least comfortable seat.
Forged by the first king of the Targaryen dynasty, King Aegon, from the swords of his defeated enemies, the Iron Throne is the stuff of legend. The new-look Iron Throne, which has enjoyed a redesign for the show, is stopping at the Tower of London on its way to the show’s Leicester Square premiere on Monday 15th August.
The throne will be at the Tower of London on the 8th and 9th of August. However, fans who want to visit it need to apply for tickets.
The booking details will be announced via the Sky (@SkyTV) & NOW (@NOW) social media channels at 9.a.m this Friday (August 5th). Those who successfully secure a ticket must present themselves, with ticket and ID, at the Tower of London East Drawbridge to enter. All attendees will also be entered into a draw to win tickets to the UK premiere on the following Monday.
Additionally, the first 25 fans to sit on the Throne per booking session will also score a treat. They’ll receive a complimentary 6-month NOW Entertainment Membership.
