The Nazi-hunting series has scored a belated renewal at Amazon…
After what seems like an extended period of deliberation, Amazon has decided to renew its new 70s-set thriller series, Hunters, for a second season.
Executive produced by Jordan Peele (Get Out), the first season starred Al Pacino as the leader of a band of Nazi hunters who are in a race against time to stop a new wave of horror from rising. The Hunters, as they’re known, have discovered that hundreds of high-ranking Nazi officials are living among us and conspiring to create a Fourth Reich in the U.S, and the eclectic team set out to thwart their genocidal plans.

The first season also starred Logan Lerman, Jerrika Hinton, Josh Radnor, Kate Mulvany, Tiffany Boone, Greg Austin, Louis Ozawa Changchien, Carol Kane, Saul Rubinek, Dylan Baker and Lena Olin.
Amazon’s project received decidedly mixed reviews from audiences and critics alike, but that reception doesn’t appear to have unduly affected its future at the streamer.
There’s no word yet on when we can expect season 2 to arrive.
