Brad Bird’s 2004 Pixar action/adventure offering is getting a sequel. A long time in the making, Bird revealed his interest in a second outing as early as 2007 but it wasn’t until 2013 that Disney-Pixar announced its intention to produce the follow up.

You’d be forgiven for not holding your breath: Summer 2019 seemed like such a long wait. However, it’s been pushed forward and we now have the recently released teaser as proof that our favourite superhero family are making a come back.

Check out the teaser below which gives little away about the plot, but we do get a cute look at Jack Jack as he gets to grips with his own powers.
