James Marsden and the cast of Jury Duty

Jury Duty sequel’s premiere announced

Posted Filed under

Jury Duty has announced a anticipated second season to the hit series, here’s the latest info we have as excitement builds…

Jury Duty was a cult hit almost as soon as the first season hit our screens. The experimental genre-bending format brought out a story that was funny, tense and sometimes restored our faith in humanity. So, how will the sequel try and follow suit?

What’s it about?

Jury Duty Presents: Company Retreat will take on the same documentary-style presentation as its predecessor, however, it’ll take place in a very different setting with a different scenario. This season’s unwitting cast member is Anthony, a recently hired “temporary worker”. Unbeknownst to him, every experience is staged, every colleague is an actor, and each moment has been orchestrated with the same attention-to-detail we’ve come to expect of Jury Duty.

The storyline set up for Anthony takes place an offsite corporate event at a family-owned hot sauce company. The founder of this fake company decides to step down from their position, leaving behind a power vacuum and putting Anthony in the eye of the storm.

Who’s in it?

There’s been no official statement this season’s casting, probably to maintain secrecy. It’s likely we won’t see the same faces again to avoid the subject having a “fool me once” moment upon seeing James Marsden in an unlikely public setting a second time…

When’s it out?

Jury Duty Presents: Company Retreat set to premiere on Prime Video March 20th.
