The BBC has released the Line of Duty series 6 trailer as excitement builds for the new series
If you’re still rewatching earlier series of Line of Duty on the BBC or on iPlayer, and checking the series website for news, you’ll be pleased to know there’s finally a trailer. As we’ve said elsewhere, series 6 is coming on Sunday March 21, and there’s also a podcast you can catch after transmission.
The trailer is the usual mix of action, intrigue, emotions and scheming. As ever the challenges to AC12’s Ted Hastings (Adrian Dunbar), Steve Arnott (Martin Compston) and Kate Fleming (Vicky McClure) come thick and fast. All we know for sure is there will be seven episodes, and the starting plot is the investigation of DCI Joanne Davidson (Kelly Macdonald) over a murder enquiry she led and never solved. Expect a lot more twists and turns and yet more red herrings on the journey towards the identity of the ever-mysterious H.
There’s also a new recruit to the team in the form of DC Chloe Bishop (Shalom Brune-Franklin). Will she survive the course? What’s her connection to everything else going on? There’s only one way to find out!
