The brand new project from Amazon MGM Studios will re-visit Wonderland and provide a new perspective on the Mad Hatter:

There’s plenty of information coming out about new productions around this time of year, thanks to it being comic-con season. The newest release about this specific project offers a peek beyond the looking-glass.

What’s Mad Hatter about?

Although plot details are currently shrouded in secrecy, it’s likely that we’ll learn about the titular character’s life in Wonderland. His character has changed over the different interpretations of the popular children’s story, but all iterations have done their best to put his madness at the forefront. It’s possible that the root of his insanity may be examined and even given an origin story of its own.

Who’s in it?

Scott Mosier (The Grinch) has already been attached to the project, with Adam Nagle (Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom) set to produce the animated feature.
