The latest Nielsens (April 11-17) show The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On taking the top spot from Bridgerton as Moon Knight stays third — here’s our unique analysis
Another interesting set of Nielsen data for streaming originals brings us a new #1. Here’s what we predicted last week:
Netflix is showing a balance of two seasons of Bridgerton and a good showing for The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On. Anatomy of a Scandal may show well, and it might be another good week for Moon Knight. We also wonder if Outer Range will make an appearance

Marry or Move on takes the top spot
The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On has broken the billion minute barrier, while Bridgeton season 2 has now been out for several weeks, and taken the #1 spot in Netflix’s own first 28 days audience table. We have to admit to not having watched Marry or Move On, so here’s a handy guide we found on the Netflix TUDUM site: We Mapped Out the Confusing Couples of ‘The Ultimatum’ So You Don’t Have To. We aren’t much the wiser!
But what else happened?
Before we dig into specific shows, note how low the numbers are at the bottom of the table. They are even lower than last time, and we wonder if Easter has any impact on this. Are TV viewers busy in church, chasing the Easter Bunny or too full of chocolate to watch TV? We aren’t sure.
We see Moon Knight keep pace, but with only one new episode to watch we suggest this means an overall growth in individuals watching the show. The Last Kingdom is holding onto fourth place, and the rest of the chart is a mix of familiar and less familiar titles — Green Eggs and Ham being the most unexpected. Outer Range did make it into the charts, and while we have reservations about the show’s overall shape, Josh Brolin and Imogen Poots are superb and well worth at least one episode of your time.
What are we expecting next time?
A look at the Netflix numbers suggests a good week for Anatomy of a Scandal, over Marry or Move On and Bridgerton dropping further. We are also interested in seeing how Moon Knight and Outer Range perform. There’s no sign of Russian Doll in the Netflix numbers, but we suspect it will appear at some stage.
Whatever happens, we’ll be back with out take on the table.
