The show had already been renewed for season 2…
The complete first season of Motherland: Fort Salem will be available to stream on BBC Three from July 26th, it’s been confirmed. Freeform’s supernatural drama series has been a modest hit stateside, and is set in an alternative, female-dominated universe in which the US halted persecution of witches during the Salem witch trials after reaching an agreement known as the ‘Salem Accord’.
Motherland: Fort Salem stars Taylor Hickson as Raelle Collar, Jessica Sutton as Tally Craven, and Ashley Nicole Williams as Abigail Bellweather, three witches in the U.S. Army fighting a terrorist organisation – the Spree – who are opposed to the military conscription of witches.
