New series announced from I Think You Should Leave creators

HBO has announced The Chair Company, a new series from Tim Robinson and Zach Kanin (I Think You Should Leave). Here’s what we know so far:

Tim Robinson seems to be adding to his ever-growing body of work with HBO’s recent announcement. From SNL to Detroiters, Robinson has gained traction for his bizarre flavour of comedy. I Think You Should Leave with Tim Robinson, created by Tim Robinson and Zach Kanin, has pushed him further into the spotlight as the series currently holds eight awards, including three Emmys.

Starring alongside Paul Rudd in Friendship in 2024, Robinson keeps generating interest from audiences and critics alike. Here’s what we know about The Chair Company so far:

Whats it about?

Tim Robinson will play a man caught up in an “embarrassing incident” at work, causing him to investigate a far-reaching conspiracy.

Who’s in it?

Aside from Robinson, Lake Bell (BoJack Horseman), Sophia Lillis (It), Will Price (A Complete Unknown), Joseph Tudisco (Mr. Robot) and Lou Diamond Phillips (Brooklyn Nine-Nine) have been confirmed to star in The Chair Company.

Who’s behind it?

The executive producers will be Robinson, Kanin, Adam McKay (The Big Short), Todd Schulman (Jury Duty),  Andrew DeYoung (Friendship) and Igor Srubshchik (Master of None). DeYoung and Aaron Schimberg (A Different Man) have been confirmed as directors.

When is it out?

The series will be out on 12th October, with weekly releases until the season finale on 30th November.
