The eight-part series adaptation of Presumed Innocent stars Jake Gyllenhaal and Ruth Negga.
Apple TV+ have released the trailer for Presumed Innocent, starring Jake Gyllenhaal.
The legal thriller draws on the 1987 best-seller by Scott Turow, made famous by its Harrison Ford fronted movie adaptation in 1990. Now, it becomes an eight-part limited series for the streamer.

Starring Gyllenhaal in the lead role of chief deputy prosecutor Rusty Sabich, the series takes viewers on a gripping journey through the horrific murder that upends the Chicago Prosecuting Attorney’s office when one of its own is suspected of the crime. The series explores obsession, sex, politics, and the power and limits of love, as the accused fights to hold his family and marriage together.
The cast also includes Ruth Negga, Bill Camp, Elizabeth Marvel (Homeland), Peter Sarsgaard, O-T Fagbenle and Renate Reinsve.
The new adaptation comes from writer David E. Kelley, who showruns and is an executive producer. J.J Abrams executive produces with Rachel Rusch Rich for Bad Robot. Gyllenhaal, Matthew Tinker. Dustin Thomason and Sharr White also serve as executive producers.
The directors are Greg Yaitanes (House of the Dragon) and Anne Sewitsky (Black Mirror), who also executive produces too.
Presumed Innocent comes to Apple TV+ on 14th June, 2024.
