Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’s second outing fared less well on Friday slipping to 1.9m (8.5%) viewers; still healthy for its time slot.
The week’s three big hitters continued to do the business with Downton Abbey keeping 9.2m (37.8%) guests entertained on Sunday. Monday saw Doc Martin add viewers with 7.4m (32.2%) and New Tricks rounded off the triumvirate with 6.8m (29.6%) on Tuesday night.
By Any Means performed strongly on Sunday for the Beeb with 3.5m (14.1%) whilst Whitechapel’s viewers dropped slightly for its penultimate episode with, a still consistent, 3.1m (14.6). On the other side of the law, Peaky Blinders appears to have found its audience with 1.7m (8.1%) viewers on BBC Two.
The Slip of the Week Award, however, goes to James Corden’s new BBC Two comedy The Wrong Mans, which shed almost 1 million viewers with 2.1m (9%) on Tuesday.
