After only two months, Wednesday now has two of the Top 5 Netflix shows of all time
We’ve been watching the Netflix Top 10 tables in the background since Wednesday season 2 came out a couple of months ago. Once it made the all time Top 10 (views after 91 days), we’ve been wondering how high it might go. The answer? Read on…
Two Wednesdays in the Top 5
First up, Netflix tracks by season, so shows like Wednesday and Bridgerton appear more than once. As of the end of October 2025, the list is:

Wednesday season 2 is sitting at #4. As it no longer features in the weekly chart, it’s getting under 2,000,000 views per week (based on this week). Even if we had five full weeks extra viewing, and the audience doubled, the extra views wouldn’t close the gap to Stranger Things season 4.
What does this tell us
To date, fewer people watched season 2 than season 1. Look at the numbers. The gap to Adolescence is a massive 100 million+ views in 91 days. It’s fair to say Wednesday season 1 was a phenomenon in terms of audience. Whatever debate about “not as good” one might entertain (and we won’t be drawn), season 2 is as strong as anything else, apart from season 1.
We’re also wondering how the oncoming juggernaut of Stranger Things season 5 will match up.
We’ll keep you posted.
