Endeavour continues to win the Sunday night ratings battle though with 5.3m viewers and an audience share of 21.9% over on ITV.
Another ITV drama fared less well on Friday with Ice Cream Girls losing almost a million viewers since the first episode, pulling in just 3.9m (17.7%) viewers.
Doctor Who was also slightly down on last week as 4.9m (25.2%) viewers joined the Doctor and Clara as they took on a ‘Journey to the Centre of the TARDIS’.
Channel 5’s weekend began with The Mentalist on Friday with 953k (4.6%) viewers tuning in. Saturday saw a NCIS double bill attract 567k (2.6%) and 788k (3.5%) respectfully; also, 705k (3.4%) viewers saw Law and Order: Criminal Intent. Finally, Once Upon a Time rounded off the US imports with 883k (3.6%) viewers on Sunday.
