He’ll be joined by Doctor Who’s Freema Agyeman playing the Nurse.
The full cast has now been released for Jamie Lloyd’s sold out upcoming production of Romeo & Juliet. It stars Spider-Man Tom Holland and newcomer Francesca Amewudah-Rivers in the lead roles.
The play is coming to London’s The Duke of York’s Theatre for a limited 12-week run. It’s described as a “… pulsating new vision of Shakespeare’s immortal tale of wordsmiths, rhymers, lovers and fighters”.
Freema Agyeman (Doctor Who) takes on the role of the Nurse. It’s another stage role for her after appearing in last year’s God of Carnage.
Also in the cast are Michael Balogun (Sherwood) as Friar and Tomiwa Edun (Trigger Point) as Capulet.
Plus, Mia Jerome as Montague, Daniel Quinn-Toye as Paris, Ray Sesay as Tybalt, Nima Taleghani as Benvolio, Joshua-Alexander Williams as Mercutio and Callum Heinrich and Kody Mortimer as Camera Operators.
