Paramount+ has renewed School Spirits for season 4

The popular high school ghost story will be back.
What is School Spirits and who stars in it

People may be excused for thinking of Paramount+ as the home of Star Trek and all things Taylor Sheridan, but there’s a lot to enjoy amongst the perhaps less obvious shows.

The announcement of the renewal sums the show up thusly:

…follows Maddie (Peyton List), a Split River High School student who finds herself trapped in a liminal space between life and death, where the only living being she can communicate with is her best friend, Simon (Kristian Ventura). On the supernatural side of things, she meets a number of lost souls who help each other solve their morbid mysteries. With help, she pieces together a path back to the land of the living. 

Each season finds Maddie and her pals digging into the secrets of their school – specifically the sheer number of deaths on campus. But the deeper they go, the darker things become.

Season 3 ended up with some big reveals and twists fans will have to wait to see resolved. With season 3 ending recently, we suspect it will be early 2026 when we get to return once more to Split River.
