The dark comic thriller for the BBC has released a set of sneak peek images for the upcoming production of Shy & Lola:

It’s almost time for a brand-new series to come to the small screen as production continues on the series. The latest release of information on the show includes first look images and additional announcements of cast members.

What’s Shy & Lola about?

The thriller follows a pair of women who have their lives thrown together as a cleaner dreaming of a bigger life and a model-turned-scammer become unexpectedly entangled in a murder. They discover a special penchant for crime together as they navigate shadowy underworlds, criminal cases and finding funds for a new life.

Who’s in it?

The cast includes Hayley Squires (The Night Manager), Bel Powley (A Small Light), Amber Grappy (One Day), Matthew McNulty (Deadwater Fell), Elizabeth Berrington (Tip Toe), Edward Bluemel (Hercule), Jordan Bolger (The Witness) Thomas Turgoose (Mickey 17), Joseph Ayre (Hijack) and Melanie-Joyce Bermudez.
