Solar Opposites has been given a fourth season before the third airs. It’s a Hulu show but you can watch in the UK, as we explain
Solar Opposites has been a huge success for Hulu, but it may have passed you by. We’ll explain what it is and how to watch in the UK.
What is Solar Opposites?
If you check the fandom wiki for the show, you’ll learn:
A team of four aliens escape their exploding homeworld only to crash land into a move-in ready home in suburban America. They are evenly split on whether Earth is awful or awesome. Korvo (Justin Roiland) and Yumyulack (Sean Giambrone) only see the pollution, crass consumerism, and human frailty while Terry (Thomas Middleditch) and Jesse (Mary Mack) love humans and all their TV, junk food and fun stuff. Their mission: protect the Pupa, a living super computer that will one day evolve into its true form, consume them, and terraform the Earth.
The show is the brainchild of Justin Roiland and Mike McMahan (Roiland was co-creator of Rick & Morty).
As to watching in the UK, we understand the show was one of many that came to Disney+ when they brought the Star content into play. Couldn’t be simpler!
Back to season 4 (and season 3)
Season 4 consist of 12 episodes, the same as season 3 (which airs in 2022). Season 1 aired in May 2020, season 2 in March 2022, so expect spring launches for both. We’ll keep you posted.
