Continuing Kevin Smith’s return to Eternia, it looks like Skeletor has the power!
After the first half of director Kevin Smith’s return to He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, Netflix have released an epic looking trailer for the concluding half of Revelation. However, the first half took fans on quite the ride and left them fearing major changes had been made to the show’s universe.
Naturally, Kevin Smith had plenty say on the subject and his interview with Variety is a colourful, entertaining read!
Here’s the synopsis for the show’s concluding five episodes:
“The war for Eternia continues in the second part of Masters of the Universe: Revelation, an innovative and action-packed animated series that picks up where the iconic characters left off. With Skeletor now wielding the Sword of Power, the weary heroes of Eternia must band together to fight back against the forces of evil in a thrilling and epic conclusion to the two-part series.”
New Heroes
Revelation stars Mark Hamill as Skeletor, with Lena Heady as Evil-Lyn, Chris Wood as Prince Adam, and Sarah Michelle Gellar as Teela. Additionally, three new cast members have been announced: Method Man will voice Clamp Champ, Dee Bradley Baker will play Savage He-Man and Danny Trejo will be Ramm Man.
Masters of the Universe: Revelation is produced by Mattel Television with Kevin Smith acting as showrunner and executive producer, and with Rob David, VP of Mattel TV and author of He-Man: the Eternity War, also serving as an executive producer.
The show returns to Netflix for its final five episodes on 23rd November. Will you be watching?
