Sky Atlantic has confirmed that the fourth season of Treme will begin in the UK next month.

HBO’s jazz-infused drama concluded in the US in December 2013.

‘Yes We Can Can’, the first of five final episodes, airs at 11pm on Thursday 9 April on Sky Atlantic.

Now November 2008, it’s 38 months since Hurricane Katrina devastated New Orleans and, as Barack Obama is sworn into the White House, there’s hope his administration will bring renewed attention and financial aid to the city.

While The Big Easy celebrates the political landmark, Janette (Kim Dickens) opens her own Bywater restaurant and LaDonna (Khandi Alexander) rebuilds Gigi’s bar. Elsewhere, school band director Antoine Batiste (Wendell Pierce) becomes invested in his students’ lives.
