Such Brave Girls – returning for another series

Posted Filed under

The eclectic, unusual, hilarious (and sometimes gross) family will be returning to our screens – here’s the latest on Such Brave Girls:

It seems to be success after success for Kat Sadler as her brainchild returns for another season to entertain, distress and disgust us. A recent announcement has confirmed a third series is underway, much to the joy of the growing fanbase of the series.

What’s Such Brave Girls about?

In a male-oriented world, a family consisting of a lonely single mother and her two diametrically opposed daughters try and find their own way. Unfortunately for them, finding yourself becomes a lot more difficult when every member of your family is pleasantly ignoring their own unique flavour of mild insanity. From being utterly man-obsessed, to (sort of) being a master manipulator or just being a mess in general, our lead family get themselves into ever-escalating predicaments with a slapped-on smile which always gives out the signal that everything is totally okay and absolutely nothing is wrong. We’ve had marriages out of peer-pressure, useless boat trips and just a little bit of extortion, as a treat. The first two series have already delivered plenty of delightful madness, so it seems there’s even more in store for the third.

Who’s behind the third series?

The feel-bad sitcom will keep Kat Sadler, Jack Bayles (Stath Lets Flats) and Phil Clarke (Brass Eye) on as executive producers, with Simon Bird (Friday Night Dinner) directing and Catherine Gosling Fuller (Derry Girls) producing.
