The CW has released an official trailer for season 1 of Superman & Lois and confirmed a February release date
Coming on Tuesday February 23, Superman & Lois season 1 consists of thirteen parts set in Smallville and married with children. This is a slice of Superman’s life less visited, with ’90s Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman very much focussing on their meeting and growing relationship. Here we have Clark Kent / Superman (Tyler Hoechlin) married to Lois Lane (Elizabeth Tulloch) and with two sons: Jonathan Kent (Jordan Elsass) and Jordan Kent (Alexander Garfin).
The series, a spinoff of the network’s 2019 Crisis on Infinite Earth crossover also stars Emmanuelle Chriqui, Erik Valdez, Inde Navarrette, Dylan Walsh and Wolé Parks It is produced by Greg Berlanti, who introduced Hoechlin as Superman in Supergirl.
You can follow the show on Twitter, and watch the trailer here. As it says:
The Man of Steel and Metropolis’ famous journalist, Lois Lane, come face to face with one of their greatest challenges ever – parenthood.
There’s no word yet as to when (or where) we can see the show in the UK; Sky One carries most shows from The CW, but a fair proportion appear on E4. We’ll keep you posted.
