Get excited for this one – YA-ish series The Bold Type will debut on Amazon Prime for UK audiences, following its success in the ‘States.

The show, which follows three young professionals working at a Cosmopolitan-style magazine in NYC, surprised everyone in the summer when it turned out to be a charming, non-derivative feel-good series with a great cast to boot.

The news comes just as Amazon announced three cancellations, including One Mississippi and I Love Dick.

The Bold Type benefits from the timely themes it engages with, including ambition, economic status, workplace sexual assault, immigration, sexuality (both straight and queer) and, in its best storyline, the way many of these things intersect.

The show will debut on the streaming platform February 9th.
