Ryan plays a single mum who is debating whether she should have a second child…

Netflix has released a first look at their new comedy series from comedian Katherine Ryan, which is called The Duchess. The End Of The F***ing World production company Clerkenwell Films are behind the show, which Ryan created, wrote and executive produced for the streaming giant.

“Katherine Ryan, fresh off her Netflix special In Trouble, came to us with an idea based on her life as a fabulous single mum living in London,” says Netflix. “Season 1 [of The Duchess] follows Katherine as she debates if she should have a second child with her estranged and troubled baby daddy. It is meant to be a Catastrophe-like single-cam comedy set in London.”

Six episodes of The Duchess will be streaming on Netflix UK from 11 September.
