The entire second season will air in November…
The End of the F***ing World is coming back to Channel 4 next month in what is expected to be an explosive second season that will hopefully resolve a few cliffhangers that we’ve had to live with since the first run finished in late 2017!
The series is based on the graphic novel of the same name by Charles Forsman, and follows James (Alex Lawther), a 17-year-old who thinks he might be a psychopath, and Alyssa (Jessica Barden), a rebellious girl in James’ class who takes a liking to him. Gemma Whelan, Wunmi Mosaku, Steve Oram, Christine Bottomley, Navin Chowdhry, and Barry Ward also star.

Barden says she was surprised at the glowing reaction from viewers after the first season aired.
“I thought that the first series would be successful in a way,” the actress told VICE UK. “We had such a great time filming it, so it felt special to us. But we didn’t think people would respond to it the way they did. I thought that people would enjoy it – like, kids would enjoy it. And then I kind of expected, in a few years’ time, for people to be like, ‘Oh, that TV show was great.’
Season 2 will run from Monday the 4th to Thursday the 7th of November on Channel 4 at 10pm.
