A brand new series with a mystery at the heart of its story will be making its way to Netflix. Recently released information has revealed part of who to expect and what to expect to see happening as the story, based on Liz Moore’s novel, unfolds.

What’s The God of the Woods about?

Set against the vast backdrop of the Adirondack mountains of North America, the storyline will investigate a drama spanning multiple generations. Focussing on the Van Laar family, the tragedy of one of their youngest members going missing stirs up dark secrets, old tensions and previous events which may or may not be related to what’s happening to the family in the current moment. The strain on them builds as they’re faced with untangling the past and all the damage that might do.

Who’s in it?

The currently announced cast for the series includes Maya Hawke (Stranger Things), Kerry Condon (The Banshees of Inisherin) and Ella Rubin (Sterling Point).
