Richard Dreyfuss, Tan France and more will be baking for a good cause…

Jaws legend Richard Dreyfuss has joined the contestants taking part in The Great Celebrity Bake Off for Stand Up to Cancer, five episodes of which are heading to Channel 4 later on in 2020.

Dreyfuss will have some deadly competition for that Star Baker apron, as the sharks are swarming to prise it from his grip. When we say sharks, we mean other celebrities. There will (probably) be no actual sharks in the show.

Elsewhere in the Sleb Bake Off lineup? Louis Theroux, Johanna Konta, Queer Eye perfectionist Tan France, James “funny online” Blunt, The Inbetweeners‘ flange magnet James Buckley, Kelly Brook, and comedians Mo Gilligan and Russell Howard.

“’The Great Celebrity Bake Off’ is a key ingredient in our Stand Up To Cancer recipe,” said Sarah Lazenby, head of formats and features at Channel 4. “We’ve seen the power of using comedy and entertainment to bring awareness and raise millions of pounds to fund pioneering cancer trials. We hope viewers will enjoy this year’s line-up of famous bakers, there’s never a dough moment as each bring something fresh and exciting to the tent.”
