Netflix will soon be home to the upcoming series jam-packed with talent, here’s what we know about The Lords’ Day:

The latest release about the project that’s still in development has announced a lineup to get audiences excited to see them carry out the drama, which has also been announced in the latest batch of news about the show.

What’s The Lords’ Day about?

The series is adapted from a Michael Dobbs (House of Cards) novel. Taking place in the internationally recognisable building that is the Houses of Parliament, a homegrown spy finds himself locked inside the building as part of an emergency safety protocol. The entire place is under some kind of attack, with the stakes escalating by the second as the defences appear to weaken moment by moment. Trust is put into the spotlight and some find it necessary to make sacrifices to ensure some kind of survival, it becomes apparent that not everybody will make it. Our protagonist will have to navigate the complex web of desperation and dishonesty, utilising his training to try and save the day – and maybe even the country.

Who’s in it?

The cast list includes Damson Idris (Snowfall), Harry Lawtey (Joker: Folie à Deux), Arsema Thomas (Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story), Sophie Willan (Alma’s Not Normal), Gemma Whelan (Game of Thrones) and Timothy Spall (The Sixth Commandment).
