The premise for the upcoming project sets it up as a dark comedy about one of the most scandalous financial fraud cases of the 20th century. Our protagonist is a self-made intellectual who loves turning impossible situations into bountiful opportunities. We meet him at a stage in his life where his talents aren’t recognised, but he doesn’t let that stop him from pursuing his idea of a good life for his wife and family. He hustles his way into the Bank of Portugal, ready to tell the biggest bluff of his life, and one of the biggest bluffs in history.
