The UK’s royal family are in for a fresh round of ribbing in a new animated series being planned out for US streaming service, HBO Max.

The show, called The Prince, is being shepherded into being by one of the writers of Family Guy, who runs an Instagram satire account about the royals that has 882,000 followers and counting. According to THR, The Prince will be “a sendup of the British royal family as told through the eyes of a young Prince George, the eldest child of Prince William and Kate” and be similar to Family Guy in at least one key way: its creator Gary Janetti will be all over it – writing, producing and voicing Prince George himself. Each episode of the series will apparently see George “finding his path in life as a young prince in modern times — from the 775 rooms of Buckingham Palace to his family’s sea of corgis to primary school with commoners.”

The rest of the cast will feature Orlando Bloom as Prince Harry; Condola Rashad as Meghan Markle; Lucy Punch as Kate Middleton; Tom Hollander as Prince Philip and Prince Charles; Alan Cumming as George’s butler, Owen; Frances De La Tour as Queen Elizabeth; and Iwan Rheon as Prince William.

“We’re so excited to bring the world Gary’s created on Instagram over to HBO Max, where our viewers can discover what his Instagram fans already know — that George can be hilarious, shocking and surprisingly sweet,” Sarah Aubrey, head of originals at HBO Max, said Tuesday in a statement. “We can’t wait to see what Gary does with a bigger canvas to paint on than just a 1:1 square.”
