There was a lot more to learn about upcoming new show The Witcher: Blood Origin.
The Witcher: Blood Origin news
The main segment began with cast members Laurence O’Fuarain (who plays Fjall) and Sophia Brown (playing Éile) sharing some trivia about their characters. They then revealed some new cast news — Minnie Driver (Grosse Pointe Blank, Will & Grace) will be in the show. Driver didn’t reveal the name of the character she plays, but did describe it as a crucial link between the history of Blood Origin and the future world of The Witcher. If you don’t know, this new series is set in the days of the creation of the first wither, as well as the time of the conjunction of worlds. It all happens more than 1,000 years before Geralt met Cirilla.
The second piece of news was revealed by Michelle Yeoh — The Witcher: Blood Origin will arrive on Netflix December 25. That’s one fewer thing for Santa’s present list!
