Adapted from the Graeme Armstrong  book of the same title, brand-new information is being unveiled for the production of The Young Team:

A brand new series will be making its way to the BBC, with filming currently underway in Scotland. The latest release of information reveals more details about the production.

What’s The Young Team about?

Directed by Paul McGuigan (Gangster No.1), the story follows a young man who enjoys riding around the streets of Airdrie, drinking whatever he can get from the offy and listening to the newest techno beats. The local gang seems to be filled with kindred spirits, and he’s very keen to be brought into their ranks. In order to do this, he’s going to have to make a very risky move that might pay off or cost him everything.

Who’s in it?

The cast includes Jakob James Smith (MobLand), Connor Newall (28 Years Later: The Bone Temple), Scot Greenan (Half Man), Beinn Catchpole, David Russell, Mick Mack, Caiden Henderson-Brown, Lewis Ray, Jack Mooney, Kevin McKidd (Grey’s Anatomy), Laura Fraser (Breaking Bad).
