The Netflix production has revealed more cast members for the series adaptation of Carley Fortune’s best-selling novel, This Summer Will Be Different:

The adaptation for the popular streamer will transform the novel into a series, with brand new names being attached to the production. The latest release of information gives more hints as who to expect to see on our screens.

What’s This Summer Will Be Different about?

Taking place across multiple summers taking place on Prince Edward Island, our protagonist regularly visits her long-time close friend to catch up. Overtime, the lead finds herself becoming entangled in a complicated issue, namely developing feelings for her best friend’s brother. Conflict arises as she grapples with breaking the golden rule of falling for the one person in her social circle that’s off-limits.
