Cricket legend Freddie Flintoff heads back to the wilderness with Discovery Channel this week in a new four-part series, setting up camp deep in the heart of the rainforest, wrestling crocodiles with his bare hands and hanging out with Masai Warriors.
Airing on Thursdays at 9pm on 24th May, Freddie Flintoff Goes Wild sees Flintoff embark on an epic series of wildlife adventures, journeying to Africa, Australia, Asia and North America.
First Freddie heads across the plains of the Serengeti for the annual wildebeest migration, but the journey is fraught with danger as predators are never far away. In the Northern Territory, Freddie dodges venomous spiders, vicious dingoes and poisonous snakes in the hunt for deadly crocodiles. In Borneo he enters the Asian jungle to search for one of the rarest mammals on earth – the pygmy elephant. His wildlife adventure encompasses clinging leaches and a cave of bats, before a close encounter forces him to beat a hasty retreat.
