BBC One has released the trailer for upcoming drama series The Night Manager, starring Hugh Laurie (House) and Tom Hiddleston (Thor).
Adapted by writer David Farr (Hanna), the six-part contemporary interpretation of John le Carré’s 1993 espionage novel begins at 9pm on Sunday 21 February on BBC One.
The Night Manager is a complex story of modern criminality which sees former British soldier Jonathan Pine recruited by intelligence operative Angela Burr to infiltrate the inner circle of arms dealer Richard Roper, dubbed ‘the worst man in the world’, in an attempt to bring him down from within.

Hugh Laurie commented last year: “I loved The Night Manager when it was published, and for more than 20 years have yearned to see it realized on screen. I am now thrilled and honored to have the frontest of front row seats. All the moving parts are finely machined – we just have to not mess it up.”
