BBC Two has released the first teaser for the new series of Peaky Blinders.

Six new episodes will air on BBC Two this autumn, with The Dark Knight Rises star Tom Hardy joining the cast as “a charismatic leader who presents a unique opportunity to Tommy”. Other new cast members include Noah Taylor (Submarine) and Charlotte Riley (World Without End).

Set in the lawless streets of post-war Birmingham on the cusp of the 1920s, Series 1 achieved a consolidated average audience of 2.4 million viewers (9.6%) and concluded on BBC Two last October.
