The first trailer has been released for The Interceptor, Strike Back writer Tony Saint’s new BBC One drama series.

The eight-part series follows a top secret, state-of-the-art law enforcement team whose unswerving mission is to hunt down some of Britain’s most dangerous criminals.

Looking star O-T Fagbenle leads the cast as Ash, whose dream of bringing down the biggest fish in the criminal underworld comes a step closer when he’s recruited to the UNIT.

The cast also includes Jo Joyner (EastEnders), Robert Lonsdale (From Here To Eternity), Trevor Eve (Waking the Dead), Anna Skellern (Lip Service), Lorraine Ashbourne (Playing The Field), Ewan Stewart (Titanic), Gary Beadle (EastEnders) and Lee Boardman (Inspector George Gently).

The Interceptor begins on BBC One in June.
