Warrior Nun will be back for Season 2 on Netflix! The series’ renewal was announced today after not much deliberation at the streaming service, it seems – the first season only debuted at the start of July.
Created by Simon Barry and based on the comic book character Warrior Nun Areala by Ben Dunn, the series stars Alba Baptista, Toya Turner, Lorena Andrea, Kristina Tonteri-Young and Olivia Delcan and follows the story of a 19-year-old woman who wakes up in a morgue with a new lease on life and a divine artifact embedded in her back. She soon discovers she is now part of the ancient Order of the Cruciform Sword that has been tasked with fighting demons on Earth.

It’s unclear at this time, due to the ongoing global pandemic, when the cast and crew will return to film Season 2, but we’ll keep you posted.
