The voice of Lego Batman will be on hand as judges decide who will become the ‘ultimate brick builder’…

Will Arnett may be winding up his tenure as the voice of BoJack Horseman on Netflix, but he’s still very much in the Lego business. The actor, who first rose to fame as Gob Bluth in Arrested Development and has been the flexing his vocal chords as Batman and Bruce Wayne in the Lego movies since 2014, is set to host the American version of reality competition series, Lego Masters, starting on 5th February.

“This show is an hour of fun for the whole family and Will is the ideal host. He’s already a member of the Lego family and his passion for this show is infectious,” said Rob Wade, president of alternative entertainment and specials at Fox Entertainment. “He’s also a great collaborator and, let’s be honest, he’s hilarious — which makes him perfect for this competition.”

Lego Masters first aired on Channel 4 here in the UK back in 2017, and according to Deadline it went on to become the network’s highest-rated new series, so it’s not surprising that it’s about to properly spread out stateside.

“It gives me piece of mind to be able to continue building my relationship with The Lego Group. Ultimately, my goal is Danish citizenship,” joked Arnett about the news.
