The cast includes David Bradley (Harry Potter) as the first Doctor, William Hartnell, while Brian Cox (The Bourne Identity) plays the BBC’s Head of Drama Sydney Newman, credited with the creation of the show, and Call the Midwife star Jessica Raine plays producer Verity Lambert.
