Season 2 of HBO’s fantasy saga Game of Thrones continues in the UK next week on Sky Atlantic with the fourth episode, Garden of Bones.
Airing at 9pm on Mondays, the new ten-part season will be shown less than 24 hours after it airs in the US.
To whet your appetite, here are ten teasing lines of dialogue from the episode …
» “The high road’s very pretty, but you’ll have a hard time marching your army down it.”
» “You’re fighting to overthrow a king, and yet you have no plan for what comes after?”
» “The boy’s at that age, and he’s got nothing to do all day but pick wings off flies. Couldn’t hurt to get some of the poison out.”
» “Your grace, too much pain will spoil a pleasure…”
» “When you march on King’s Landing, you may find yourself facing a protracted siege. Or, open gates…”
» “No one wants you for their King. You never wanted any friends, brother. But a man without friends is a man without power.”
» “She is the Mother of Dragons. Do you expect her to watch her people starve without breathing fire?”
» “I could swear that I had not harmed a single hair on his head, but that would not, strictly speaking, be true.”
» “A good act does not wash out the bad. Nor the bad, the good.”
» “If half an onion is black with rot, it’s a rotten onion. A man is good, or he is evil.”
