Episode 2 airs at 5.40pm on Saturday 23rd June on ITV1. In the meantime, here are ten teasing lines of dialogue from the episode…
» “Matt, I did some research. I found out what happened to her…”
» “The first thing you learn about life on a submarine; think small, and thin.”
» “Matt and I have had to cover for you lately. People are starting to notice.”
» “A big metal tube somewhere in the vicinity of a magnetised anomaly. Anyone see where this is going?”
» “The Russians, the Americans, the Chinese, they all sneak around playing hide and seek in those waters. Can you imagine what would happen if one of their nuclear subs disappeared off the coast of Britain?”
» “We just have to hope the team reappears before the admiral opens his Pandora’s box.”
» “Nuking an anomaly won’t work.” / “Nuking anything works.”
» “Well this is great, innit? Creatures outside where we can’t see ‘em. Creature inside where there’s no lights and no exit. Gotta be honest, I prefer hunting dinosaurs on dry land.”
» “Yes, Minister. Of course. Well, have a good apocalypse. You’re already pond-life, you won’t notice the difference…”
» “Your people are long ago, and far away. We have no choice.”
