For the most part this is sharp, well-delivered comedy with a pair of actors at the top of their game delivering honest, affecting performances.
Matt LeBlanc, Tamsin Greig and Stephen Mangan will all return to BBC Two in 2012 for a second run of comedy series Episodes.
Starring Simon Bird (The Inbetweeners) and Tamsin Greig (Green Wing), Channel 4’s new comedy Friday Night Dinner begins at 10pm tonight.
