Hans Zimmer is an Oscar, Grammy and Golden Globe award-winning composer, considered to be one of the most influential and renowned contemporary score composers of our time. Hans Zimmer has received nine Academy Award nominations for his scores for Inception, Sherlock Holmes, Gladiator, The Thin Red Line, The Prince of Egypt, As Good As It Gets, The Preacher’s Wife, Rain Man and The Lion King, winning the Oscar for the last. His more recent film credits include Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, Kung Fu Panda 2, Sherlock Holmes 2 and The Dark Knight Rises. He has composed music for over 100 films to date.
