Sisters revolves around two ‘chalk and cheese’ siblings who are tasked with cleaning out their childhood bedroom. When they are inspired by artefacts of their teen years – including rad 80s’ mix tapes – the sisters decide to throw one final high-school-style party! The last-minute idea for a reunion sparks a hoard of middle agers to rekindle their lost youths, but young-at-heart Kate (Fey) swears she’ll act mature so the newly divorced Maura (Poehler) can let down her guard and tear it up, like she dreamed of doing in school.
