It’s not the most surprising recommission news, but the BBC has confirmed that it’s ordered another run of its hit drama, Death In Paradise.
It seems a winter cocktail for ratings success, mixing in crime solving and sunshine locations, and more will be in store on BBC One at the start of next year. The current series is running on Thursday nights, and is earning consistently impressive ratings.
Ardal O’Hanlon will be reprising his lead role in the show as DI Jack Mooney, for what will be its eighth series. Filming will begin later this year on the new series.
