‘Doctor Who’: ‘A Good Man Goes To War’ cast list revealed

Alongside the series regulars, returning characters include ‘eye patch lady’ Madame Kovarian, Dorium Maldovar from ‘The Pandorica Opens’ and Sontaran Commander Strax. Nicolas Briggs also returns as the Voice of the Cybermen, confirming the villains’ presence in the episode, while Neve McIntosh, who played sisters Alaya and Restac in Series 5’s Silurian two-parter, appears as new character Madame Vastra.

Series 6 Episode 7 airs at 6.40pm on Saturday 4th June.

Also apparently returning are Hugh Bonneville as ‘The Curse Of The Black Spot’‘s Henry Avery and Oscar Lloyd as Avery’s son Toby.

The Radio Times listing for the week’s Doctor Who Confidential, which airs at 7.30pm on Saturday 4th Jun, also reveals that part of the episode is set in Jack the Ripper era London:

“Behind the scenes of the mid-series finale, which is set on the asteroid Demons Run. The Doctor Who team reveals how it creates the newest baddies, turns a small platoon of clerics into an army and transforms a Cardiff alley into Jack the Ripper’s London.”
